Webinar How should the crash repair sector respond to economic pressures and technology change?

Drawing on the initial results of ICDP’s research presented in March 2026 at the Spring Meeting on the crash repair market structure and trends, this webinar will summarise the views of repairers and other stakeholders, such as insurers, market experts, and suppliers, on the evolution of the sector. A particular focus will be placed on elements such as in-car technology (ADAS, evolution in body frame design and materials, HV batteries, etc.), recruitment issues, and insurer-repairer relationships, and their current and future impact on the crash repair business.

In addition, we will present the latest outputs of our crash repair model, assessing the future trends for crash repairs in volume and value for the main European countries. These results will be based on realistic assumptions of the key variables impacting this market, at the 2030 horizon.

As usual, this ICDP webinar will provide a good opportunity to bring yourself up to speed on the latest developments in collision repair - a key aspect of after-sales business - as well as to discuss the topic with the ICDP team: a Q&A session will be scheduled at the end of the webinar.

If you would like to attend, please send an email to projectoffice@icdp.net and a Zoom invite will be sent to you.

Webinar How will the new entrant OEM brands continue to develop their dealer networks and approaches?

New entrants – primarily from China – are making rapid progress in building up their presence in European markets.  Whilst some have been remarkably successful by comparison with other brands that been launched in Europe historically, others have had a slower start, and some have failed completely.  In this webinar, we will consider whether there are critical success factors for new entrants in order to quickly win the trust of customers, dealers and other stakeholders.  Are there lessons to be learned for established manufacturers, and do these help dealers and others seeking to build relationships with new entrants to prioritise which ones to work with?

If you would like to attend this webinar, please send an email to projectoffice@icdp.net and a Zoom invite will be sent to you.
