May 2022 Connected customers and digital retailing webinar

Customers now complete more of the car buying journey online than ever before, using a mix of OEM, dealer, and third party resources to conduct research, examine products, get a trade in valuation, finalise the deal, and even complete the transaction. And with the restrictions forced upon the industry by the Covid-19 pandemic, retailers were forced to ‘lean into’ this connected customer behaviour and embrace digital retailing, or get left behind.

 In this 1-hour webinar we explored these themes using results from our latest consumer survey to examine how customers are connected to the buying journey, and why. We also heard from Marc Palmer, Brand Director at Auto Trader, who presented results from a joint study conducted by Auto Trader, ICDP, and the NFDA into digital retailing, and the impact this trend has had on retailers over the past two years.
