July 2025 IAM Update webinar

This webinar was held on 8th July 2025.

Although ageing car parcs are lucrative for independent IAM players, independent repairers and service chains, they need to adapt to cope with the current and future aftermarket.

During this webinar, we reviewed the evolution of the different types of mechanical repair and maintenance players in Europe: independent repairers which are either part of a multi-brand franchise, service chains, etc. or not.

We also analysed the role of franchisors in the development of specific skills and service offers linked to electrification, access to fleets, the sale of maintenance contracts, ‘green’ mobility, and niche market segments such as classic cars etc.

Finally, a qualitative analysis was presented focused on of how both repairers and customers react to these specific ‘labels’ and offers".

The presentation with speaking notes is available below, plus a video recording.
