S. Ricardo Conesa
Asscociate Director, Spain
S. Ricardo Conesa was born in Madrid in 1955, and is married with no children.
He obtained a business management degree at ICADE in Madrid and also an MBA
at IESE.
He started his career in 1977 at Ford Spain, and later held marketing and
commercial positions in Opel España and Pegaso (later IVECO). He
then moved into consultancy, where he managed a variety of projects for
A.T. Kearney including
a global sourcing programme for General Motors Brazil in Sao Paulo.
Back
in Spain, he was country manager of Spain and Portugal for Alison Associates
implementing
business management benchmarking systems for many of the brands operating
in Spain, including training and consultancy for dealer performance improvement.
Before joining ICDP he was the Business Development Director at Urban Science
Spain, one ICDP's members, where he participated actively in various forums,
presentations and articles on the impact of the Block Exemption on the Spanish
Automotive industry.
He is also the Director of the “Programa Superior de Dirección
de Empresas del Automovil “ of the Instituto de Empresa, one of the
leading Business schools of Spain. The programme is focussed on improving
management
skills in dealership and network management.
Ricardo collaborates with A.T. Kearney in Spain in various commercial projects,
and is a member of the Board of ROADTODATA Iberica S.L. and Experteye AG.
