Ben Waller
Senior Researcher

Ben has returned to ICDP after three years at Cardiff Business School as a Senior Research Associate, working on a range of projects in various sectors including defence, information technology, automotive and retailing. His role included the development of new programmes with both the Innovative Manufacturing Research Centre and the Lean Enterprise Research Centre, which resulted in an Oracle research programme in IT and lean enterprise, and projects on supply chain energy use reduction and the high street commercialisation of 3D printing. Before this, Ben was with ICDP in the UK, spent some time with ICDP Australia, and first joined as a researcher on the 3-Day-Car programme. Prior to a research career, Ben was at UK retailer Sainsbury's as a commercial analyst, plus time spent in procurement and in-store marketing. Ben has a BA(hons) degree from the University of Sheffield, and an MSc with distinction from Salford University. Ben likes cats and dislikes call centres.
